The Full Tilt Online Poker Series continued to roll on as Event #6 saw 823 players crash the tables. Event #6 was a $500+35 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi spectacle which brought Full Tilt a $411,500 prize pool. Out of the 823 player field three players decided to chop up the money earning each player a very respectable payday. ‘zimp721’ finished the tournament on top collecting $65,173 for his efforts. Joining zimp721 for the chop was ‘Deniro77’ who took second place for $61,673, and ‘babayaro’ took home third place for a prize valued at $59,768. Zimp721 can now add a ‘FTOPS’ jersey to that avatar. |

The poker TV show High Stakes Poker made its debut today as season 6 was launched. Hosts are funny man Gabe Kaplan and Kara Scott. Scott just joined the show after being a host for the European Poker Tour. The show was kicked off on Valentines Day giving couples an extra show to watch if they decided to stay in. High Stakes Poker will once again showcase the best of the best from the poker world by making the buy-in a minimum $200,000. Most of the players featured play high stakes online, but this time fans get to watch the action on their television set. |

Full Tilt’s online poker series rolled on with two events taking place on Friday. The day began with Event 4’s $200+16 (1r+1a) which created a prize pool of $716,000. Three players made a chop that goes as follows; ‘ddanchev’ took first place for $140,644, ‘flpro’ took second for $92,967, and ‘Sirocko’ held the third place position for $90,000. Event 5’s $200+16 saw 834 players hit the felt for this event as only two players finished the tournament with a chop. ‘Bbuddy4brkfst’ was crowned the champion of the tournament who earned $28,963. Though ‘Bbuddy4brkfst’ was declared the winner second place finisher ‘wondertwinpower’ took home more money finishing with a $30,000 payday. |
