Full Tilt Poker’s MiniFTOPS had a big day on Sunday as three MiniFTOPS events were held. The day kicked off with the ‘6 max super stack knockout’ which brought in 15,742 players, and a first place prize of $46,794.23. ’R3IAAxx’ beasted that large field to claim the MiniFTOPS victory and one nice payday. The next event to take place was the ‘heads-up shootout’ as 4,015 players made their bid at the $30,000 plus first place prize. ‘JMac227’ won over 10 heads up bouts as he cruised to the heads-up victory. The final event of the day brought the biggest field and prize pool out of three mini events. Event #10 saw 17,879 players hit the felt with a total prize pool of $536,370. ‘ToM RoX 420’ defeated ‘AceWPT’ to win the super stack event which held a first place prize of $80,455.50. Christmas shopping should be a little less stressful this year for the winners. |

MiniFTOPS started last night with the Jeremiah Smith hosted event, and it was defiantly more than a success. 16,711 hungry poker players registered for this $20+2 NLHE event pushing the prize pool over $334,000. Full Tilt Poker pro 'Christian Kruel' fell just short of shipping of the event as he wound up in fourth place. The tournament and the first place money of $49,611.62 belonged to 'dbfla'. Dbfla made his way through this massive field to claim a MiniFTOPS victory, which only means 16,710 hearts were broken in the process. Want your shot at a MiniFTOPS championship? Tournaments will run every day until December 20th. |

Usually when you think of a triple crown you think baseball, but there isn't home runs, RBIs, or batting averages in the world of poker. JLizard won his fourth poker triple crown which is quite accomplishment for any poker player. JLizard was able to capture first place in the PokerStars $50,000 guarantee, the Ultimate Bet $100 cubed, and the Full Tilt Poker $20 re-buy six max event. He won all three tournaments within a weeks time thus giving him his fourth triple crown. Let's just say it was quite the profitable week for the triple crown winner. Congratulations to JLizard. |
