Full Tilt Poker is defiantly in the elite of the online poker rooms and now they add another feature to their software. Full Tilt adds ‘Run it Twice’ to their arsenal of great features and for those of you who are unaware of what ‘running it twice’ actually means then let me break it down for you. In cash game tables players now have the chance to see all five community cards twice. For instance, say it is a flip situation (AQ vs. JJ) both players in the hand can decide to run the hand twice so maybe the first hand is won by AQ and then the second time it is ran JJ will come away as the victor. This way the players in a big pot will only fork over the rake for the hand but yet be satisfied with chopping a big pot. |

The World Poker Tour stops in Marrakech (Africa) and a field that started with over 400 players has been trimmed down to only 17 players left. Leading the way for the 17 remaining poker players is Ludovic Lacay as he is trying to hold them off to claim the first place prize. The first ever poker tournament in Africa is being brought to us by ChiliPoker as they are the proud sponsor of the WPT in Marrakech. Players will return tomorrow as play is set to resume at 2 P.M. or viewers call follow the tournament via Twitter and Facebook. |

Day 3 is completed and the final has been set for the 2009 Asia Pacific Poker Tour. The tournament is being played in Auckland and how fitting that an Auckland resident, Jason Brown, has the chip lead going into the final table. The other 8 players that trying to catch Mr. Jason Browns goes as follows: Richard Lancaster, Ke Sijia, Assadour Assadourian, Simon Watt, Gerome Guitteau, Lance Climo, Michael Shinzaki, and Jens Walther. I also should point out that I have never had so many ‘red incorrect marks’ underneath the names of the players at a final table. Getting back to poker the final is set resume tomorrow at SkyCity Casino. |

By now I am sure you have heard of TV’s ‘PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge’. First up was the priest, Father Andrew Trapp, from St Michael Catholic Church who won $100,000 for his efforts to bring back home where all the money will go to build a church. Well played Father Trapp, well played indeed. Next up on PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge is Sgt 1st Class Denny Luga who will be going head to head with Playmate of the Year (ouch Charlie, ouch) Jayde Nicole for his shot at $25,000. He also played next to poker pro Daniel Negreanu but with a Playmate of the Year to look at his mind may become a little boggled. |
