Full Tilt Poker and four of their professionals are under fire in a L.A. County Supreme Court. Lary Kennedy and Greg Omotoy are suing Full Tilt Poker, Phil Ivey, Mike Matusow, Howard Lederer, and Chris Ferguson after being accused of playing as ‘robots’. Greg and Lary made their accounts and proceeded to earn over $80,000 in winnings. All 4 poker pros reported their play to Full Tilt Poker in which Full Tilt turn around and froze their assets. Both Greg and Lary decided to take legal action against Full Tilt Poker (and its players) by claiming that Full Tilt has altered the game using their own poker bots to converse the game from skill to luck. |

The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure is set to begin January 4th, 2010 and it looks like it’s going to be bigger than ever. The 7th annual PCA event will be held on Paradise Island (in the Bahamas) at the Atlantis Hotel. The PCA is set to take place over a 10 day period with an astounding 50 events taking place during this time period. The main event of this year’s PCA is ‘guesstimated’ to be over $14.5 million which would set records only taking a backseat to WSOP Main Event here in America. It would be nice if we could be there but it will be on TV on major television networks. |

Every U.S. player would to hear the news that online poker is finally ‘legalized’ with our U.S. boarders. Though this would be a good thing for every professional and occasional grinder out there; it would come with some possible down falls as well. For starters players would have to pay more taxes because odds point to the government taxing the poker world like never before. Another thought is that some players could be possibly banned (well at least for a couple years) because to be gambling legally you must be 21 years of age. Legalizing the game we love will come with ups and down; but I’m sure it’ll be worth it. |
