Absolute Poker saw only 124 players enter the tournament, but the first place winner still walked away with a healthy $39,750 in cash prizes. This is the third $1K online event (Full Tilt’s $1K Monday and PokerStars ‘Super Tuesday’) that failed to cover the guarantee likely due to PCA. Nonetheless, ‘RUNSONWATER’ walked on water as he made his way through this modest field and captured first place. ‘RIVVERKILLER’ also walked away happy as he earned a second place finish which landed him $24,000.
