Face the Ace came to an end this past Saturday, and it was an episode with many ups and downs. The first contestant was Nico Mamy who first played and defeated Patrik Antonius. Mamy opted to forgo his $40,000 and play Mike ‘The Mouth’ Matusow for $200,000. Unfortunately for Mamy he was unable to do so, and he left Las Vegas empty handed. The next contestant, Drake Jackson, made the biggest impression, but it wasn’t for his poker playing abilities. Jackson made the comment that he would rather play Phil Gordon instead of Huck Seed, because he claims that Seed is the better player. Jackson ended up playing and defeating Allen Cunningham in the first round for the $40,000. Gordon was upset to hear Jackson took the money and opted out of the second round match up.
