High Stakes Poker Season 6 got underway on yesterday as GSN made the debut on Valentine’s Day. The buy-in for the game was a minimum $200,000 and the big names were out in force. Names like Daniel Negreanu, Tom Dwan, Antonio Esfandiari, Phil Ivey, Andreas Hoivold, and of course the bad boy of poker, Phil Hellmuth. Phil Hellmuth didn’t get to stay long as he went through his $200,000 buy-in in a hurry and was shown the door. Phil Ivey was a big winner on the night walking away up over $325,000. The next episode will begin next Sunday at 8:00 PM ET on the Game Show Network.
