With all the help that is pouring in from around the world to help the victims of the Haiti earthquake; the online poker community is trying to do their part to lend an extra hand. This time the help came from PocketFives members. Nearly 80 members pledged to give 10% of their winnings to the efforts that are currently taking place in Haiti. The biggest donator was ‘JLizard’ who gave $6,100 to the cause after finishing in 2nd place in a Heartland Poker Tour event. JLizard was the biggest donator for the time being, but that doesn’t mean other members didn’t step up to the plate. Overall the total amount of donations was around $40,000 which included live donations, online donations, and online poker rooms matching the online donations. Thanks to everyone that donated.
