Aaron Benton cruises through a final table of Australians to claim the PokerStars.net Asia Pacific Poker Tour Grand Final Main Event (quite the name, eh?). Besides Thomas Slifka (USA) and Ernst Hermans (Netherlands), who was the runner up in the tournament, were the only non-Australians at the final table. Aaron Benton and Ernst Hermans did go on to chop up the money respectively, but it was Benton who took the first place prize of $500,438. Hermans walked away with a payday of $475,000, and though it’s a remarkable score; first place winner Aaron Benton will receive all the glory.
