The 2010 World Series of Poker is taking a different approach this year when it comes to the use of cell phones. They won’t be allowed. Last year players were allowed to use cell phones at the table, and often times players would update their ‘Twitter’ status to keep fans posted on their chip stacks. This coming year players will not be allowed to do so under news rules. All cell phones will now have to be shut off when players are at the table. All players must step away from the table if they are wanting to use their cell phone for phones call, texting, or in fact to ‘tweeter’.
