The World Series of Poker stopped in the ‘Windy City’ with the Horseshoe Chicago Main Event as Dan Livingston took home the circuit ring. Livingston, a 22 year old poker player from Illinois, won the circuit ring and the first place prize of $291,749. Livingston went through a field of 248 which was up from last year’s event and was the biggest live tournament Livingston had ever played in. His biggest cash previous to this event was for $4,000 playing online. Livingston says he has his sights set on the upcoming 2010 World Series of Poker as this extra cash will help get him started.
